Mandatory Dimensional Verification Notice
By purchasing and using our 1:1 scale paper templates, you agree that it is the fabricator's sole and absolute responsibility to verify all printed dimensions using a standard tape measure on-site BEFORE cutting, coping, or welding any steel, aluminum, or physical materials.
TrueFab Prints is not liable for costs associated with wasted raw materials, labor, shop errors, or construction delays due to template scaling mismatches, file export conversions, or paper dimensional shifts. Always pull a tape measure before you cut.
1. Scaling Accuracy & Roll Calibration
We print your technical drawings on industrial plotters calibrated specifically for dimensional linear accuracy. However, small variations may occur due to environmental factors such as humidity, paper moisture absorption, or thermal contraction. Fabricators must always calibrate using the printed linear checkmark boundaries included on each layout roll.
2. CAD File Format Compliance
It is the user's responsibility to upload files conforming strictly to our guidelines:
- Standard 2D DXF or DWG formats (AutoCAD 2018 version or older recommended).
- Geometries must be configured in real-world 1:1 scale inside Model space.
- All overlapping vectors or redundant segments must be purged prior to submission.
- TrueFab Prints does not parse 3D solids or viewport layouts for print.
3. Reprint & Return Policy
Because every template is custom-manufactured to match your uploaded digital geometry, **all sales are final**. We do not offer cash refunds. However, if a dimensional scaling error is caused by our plotters or the package sustains damage in transit, we will reprint and ship your templates for free. You must report any scaling issues within 7 days of delivery.
4. Shipping, Minimum Charges, and Payments
We require a base minimum charge of **$50.00** per order. Real-time shipping rates are calculated dynamically using carrier rates. All charges, including print rush options and linear foot processing fees, are calculated upon file review. No card authorizations will be processed into captures until we have checked your files and established final pricing compatibility.
5. Changes to the Service
TrueFab Prints reserves the right to modify base pricing, turnaround times, and file format requirements at any time without prior notice.
